Quentin cheering for Obama

How much do you love this face!? Can you all believe that Quentin is 4 months old tomorrow? This has been the greatest 4 months for the family. We have worked out all the snags with me going back to work and Quentin is doing great with going to a friends house for part of the week and to Grandma Clark for the rest of the week. He is just a little motor-mouth these days. That is, when his hands aren't in his mouth since he just started teething. TEETHING! It's amazing how quickly they change.
Jeff and I took a 4 day trip to Vegas last month without the little man. It was a little hard leaving but once we were there we had a great time. An old friend of Jeff's got married there so we went to celebrate. The wedding was beautiful! We also decided to use the trip to celebrate Jeff's 31st birthday. As much fun as we had it sure was great to get home, needless to say Quentin slept with mom and dad that night.
Next week Jeff is a big week for Jeff and his water polo girls, they have their state tournament and we are very excited. GO RAY! Quentin is going to his first game tomorrow, here's hoping he brings the team good luck.

I went back to work almost three weeks ago, and although I love working I miss having Quentin all to myself. When I get home from work I can't get through my chores quick enough so that I can spend the rest of the evening with him. My favorite time has become bath time. He loves the water! He is just discovering his voice and is more vocal than ever. I love all his new facial expressions and with I could record everyone of them. Here he is fresh from the bath and happy that Dad is holding him

OK I am joining in the fun and going to give this thing a shot. Here's the run down on me for all of those who don't know me and for all of those I have lost touch with over the years. I married my husband Jeff just over four years ago and have been living on Bainbridge Island since that happy day. We bought the perfect little house about two years ago and have had fun making it a home. Jeff is still coaching girls water polo for Bainbridge High and loving it. When we are not busy with the almost year round sport we are working for the family business and keeping the video store running.
But the real joy came this January when Quentin Miles joined us. We were gifted the most beautiful little boy. He came to us on January 11th weighing in at 5 pounds 12 onces and has been our world ever since. Becoming a parent is one of the most amazing things ever. I knew I would love being a mother but what I imagined is nothing compared to the real joy.
